« on: December 29, 2004, 11:38:21 PM »
To anyone who has received the pdf file of the December LSAT could you please forward the file to

I'm preparing to take the June test in da afternoon =), I can't wake up early...

Thanks a bunch.

The GRE might be easier in difficulty, but you don't have to memorize 3000+ words for the LSAT.

No Conan, only triathlons and basketball!!

Btw, the so-called dream team sucks.

The prison is at Queen's not UofT.  Wrong city and wrong school.

They say the 30th time is the charm.

Btw 15 more is actually $1050 US, so it's not w/o cost.

Yeah Swifty, I dunno what beef you have with Lexy or Jacy or if it's just an inside joke, but I still like you in a non-homosexual kind of way  ;).

Law School Admissions / Mutherfuckin Adware & Spyware (Rant).
« on: August 22, 2004, 05:31:05 PM »
Okay this *&^% is really starting to piss me off.  The amount of adware and spyware that's on the net is freaking ridiculous.  Last nite, when I was removing some program, I noticed I had some BS program called PGate Basic installed on my system.  I never installed this on my computer.  Anyways, I tried to uninstall the *&^% and it took me to some internet website that's suppose to remove it.  I knew this was BS from the beginning, so I didn't use that crap.

It turns out that PGate Basic is such a female dog to remove, the usual Spybot couldn't remove it from my system.  So, I had to personally delete all the registry entries myself.  Then, upon rebooting, I found out that PGate Basic "reinstalls" itself onto your computer after every reboot.  I decided to search the net on how to remove this POS and learned that I had to remove the entries first then delete the associated .exe files.  But, the fun lies in determining which of the live processes are responsible for the reinstallation.  If your computer is like mine, it probably has about 30 processes running, half of which I do not really know what they're for.  So, using judgement and trial & error, I removed the suspect processes, this took another hour.  Btw, I'm really apprehensive about spyware b/c I never know which ones are keyloggers.

All in all, it took me about 3 hours to remove this crap from my computer.  Now, I finally decided to employ a personal firewall.  I hope you all realize the internet is full of this stuff and protect yourself from it, learn from my mistake!

If you haven't already, d/l these:
