People at UNC are morons. Admissions office that is...
I've been having mail issues b/c of my mail man so I called UNC to ask my status and see if any mail has been returned. They said, "there's no way to check a status of a single application." What does that mean? They have no idea whether I got in/out/never been contacted. I wish I can request my money back. UW on the other hand is a beautiful campus with a really great rep and opportunity to work in a decent city with opportunity to work abroad. I say go with UW. 5

My personal reason for hating the war:
I stopped getting mail -> why? because my mailman had to go serve the stupid war! -> I have no mailman -> Thus, my mail has been sporadically returned to sender as "cannot be found" -> Apparently, this has been going behind my back for over 3 months now -> Bush Sucks 9

I, too, got my first reject of the cycle from BC.
Oh~well... hopefully BU will show me some love soon. I've been having so much problem with mail that my rejection was dated 1/31 and I got the damn letter today! Current Mood: Worried...

I just got a phone call from their dean today.
He said that the decision about merit scholarship will be made and notified by the end of the month. He also mentioned that travel expense to open house will be reimbursed. Hope this helps! |
