Hey, no big deal. Today I'll try the AXE EFFECT on any man in the elevator by running my hands up and down my fellow passenger, be he 12 or 80. I'll update you on how that goes.

Uh-oh. What have I done?  Hope this doesn't get you in trouble :P

"maybe Lexy's being coy. Perhaps she does have feelings for this guy but won't allow herself to explore them because she really doesn't know where she's off to next (with respect to the law school thing and all), or because she sees brighter prospects on the horizon, or because this guy has some "flaw" she's afraid she won't be able to get past, or any number of reasons."

I don't know about this. Lexy strikes me as the type that knows exactly what she wants, and how she plans on getting it.

How'd the elevator trick work, anyway?

I did everything ya'll told me to, and somehow, it didn't work. I have no idea why.

I got in the elevator with an acceptably attractive 27-year-oldish man and yawned (a la LexyLit, my gasps going up a few octaves). Then I took bluntsandfortiesandbitch's advice to find a reason to touch him. So I asked if his sweater was merino wool, and he said, "No, just regular wool." But I ran my arm up and down his chest just to make sure. He didn't seem to like that.

Then I took someone else's advice to simply cup my breasts and ask him if they looked too small. I thought he was going to start crying right then and there.

By the time we were down to the 5th floor, I was chasing him around the perimeter of the small square floor of the elevator.

Then I gave him my business card. He made a point to tell me he was married with three small children, but I told him that I didn't believe such a tale.

I think it was a success. He should be calling any moment now.

LOL! But you forgot the advice of whoever told you to reenact an Axe commercial! I'm sure that would've cause some fireworks  ::)

1) car - Ford Taurus. Yeah, I know, but it gets the job done.
2) watch - Swiss Army. Again, getting the job done.
3) audio - Sony receiver, 6 piece surround set cambridge soundworks speaker (with cambridge soundworks sub, too)
4) camera - Fuji dig camera
5) dvds - I have...oh...around 120. I like movies.  ;D

Besides, I don't want Annie. I want Reindeer's friend.

Too bad I'm not Bae Yong Jun. Then she'd go out with me.

f-ing parents

Is it like really bad that I dont' even know who the hell Bae Yong Jun is? No clue.

I want a blond-haired blue-eyed boy from Kentucky whose family breeds race horses.

No joke.

I have one for auction on eBay...

Yeah, they're really a dime a dozen.

How'd the elevator trick work, anyway?

I swear, this Jrtz Dewitt thing has become like the inside joke of LSD.     But it’s funny, cause it seems self contained among the Asians, like myself, Dsong, Reindeer.

It seems like Asian guys really like to give you a hard time about potential hook ups and *&^%.  I know its like that in Korea.  If I ever had a crush on some chick, I wouldn’t hear the end of it from my idiot Sun Baes and my cousins.  Asses.

I dunno if it's an Asian thing. I do that sorta stuff all the time with my friends - it's just a matter of pressing people's buttons.  :P

Yeah, like Gin, instead of seeing a lack of intelligence i hope for its presence. Mixed results with this.

We'll be moving in together in the middle of 1L as he has to stay in Boston an extra 4 months or so.  Once we move in together dec/jan next year, he has a year limit to propose.  Stats say that the longer you live together unengage/unmarried, the more likely you are to divorce, so I'm putting a cap on it.

I've read that too. Why do you think that is?
