Site was a hoax.

2011 Winter Multistate Bar Exam Questions and Answers at the link below.

Go help everyone remember all 200 questions:

Thanks a lot, fellas.  I called a little while ago, but got the answering machine and chose not to leave a message.

There are only 2 or 3 interns, so I doubt there's any sort of orientation.

I'll call the gentleman I interviewed with first thing tomorrow morning.  I imagine he'll understand.  He went to law school too.

I got a legal internship at the Federal Public Defender's Office.

My last final is on May 14th, I agreed to start the internship on May 18th.

I totally forgot about the Law Review write-on, which begins immediately after the last final.

I want to ask to start a week later in order to devote more time to the record.

How should I address this?  Phone?  E-Mail?

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Hofstra also leads the second tier in big state governors.

And the country in legally blind ones.

I'm a 1L at Hofstra.

156 / 2.5 / URM

$15,000 in annual scholarship money and I did very well my first semester.

Best of luck!!

I've been away from this site for quite a while.  I can't believe this thread's accumulated over a quarter-million views.

Congrats to all who've been accepted already.  Law School's a great experience.  I have to get back to studying Products Liability.  I have my last exam (Torts) on Wed.

Good luck to all of you!!

Law School Admissions / Re: Complete ACL Tear. Should I Defer?

Your doctor probably has a pretty good idea of what you're in for physically and academically.  Does he/she have an opinion?

Yeah, he thinks I should go.  He thinks I should have the procedure done a month before I leave so I can rest at home and begin rehab in law school.

I trust Dr. Uribe.  If you follow football, he operated on Willis McGahee and Frank Gore who both had complete ACL tears.

I'm just going to get into the pre-op rehab and see how it goes.

I'll probably go ahead with it.  As a person I look up to said, "this could be a great opportunity.  There won't be the added distraction of going out or playing basketball."

I would always be in a position to study.

I just want to know what you did to tear your ACL that badly.  Jesus Christ!

FWIW, I say defer as well.  You'll only lose a year.  You can't make up bad first year grades, and it will be difficult to do well with this as an added distraction.

Just bad luck.  Driving to the basket playing basketball, I heard a crunch, my leg gave way and I was rolling on the floor in some serious, serious agony.

Bad timing more than bad luck, really.

I'm really worried about how this could potentially affect my grades.

I'm a paralegal at a criminal defense firm and I was kinda happy to stop going to jail every day, but my employers say it's not worth risking the first semester grades.  They say it's easier to convince Hofstra to defer me than to convince my first employer why my first semester grades were awful.

I hate this so much.  I can't do anything to right this immediately.

Thanks a lot for the advice.

This is a horrible situation.
