Has anyone in the daytime section gotten their subsection (I think that's what they're called) assignments?  I don't know what RWA class I'm in...got any info?

Thanks,
Chip

I think once they enroll us at the end of July we'll know.  Although it could be as late as orientation I guess.  I'm pretty sure all RWAs are on Friday either way.  Anyone else in the RWA-IP section?

Don't go to a forth tier law school.

You will not get a good job without a t14 degree.

I'm not making this up.

Neither Wayne nor MSU is fourth tier (I believe).

And you can get good jobs from non T14 schools, as long as you do well enough in your class.  You're just more likely to be restricted geographically.

Wayne State is in the fourth tier...they fell this year.

Evening section here.  I'm taking Torts and Contracts (both T-Th) and the Friday morning RWA-IP section.  Anyone else?

I've decided.  MSU-COL here I come!!!  (or should I say "stay")  I did both undergrad and some grad coursework here too...I guess you could say I'm a "Lifer"!!!

Being here for 11 years now, I pretty much know everything about the area (including where to find secret parking spots!!!).  So feel free to ask away (not about the parking spots though!!!)   :P

And MSU hoops is gonna be killer this year!!! Final Four, Baby!  I've already got my NCAA Regional tickets at Ford Field!  :)

GO GREEN!  :)

Get help...........IMMEDIATELY.

Also for the record, why the hell do people care if their school is in Tier 3 or 4?  Unless it's borderline Tier2/Tier3 and you think it might make a jump up or down, it DOES NOT MATTER.  Just pick the school you feel most comfortable at and where you think you can excel while receiving a decent education.

I enrolled at MSU when they were a border T2/T3 school (2 yr ago) and last year they dropped to T4 (allegedly because of mistakes in reporting) ... curious if there were really "mistakes".

MSU is back to T3.
N/A 2.2 3.0 3.05-3.67 155-160 40.2% 20.0 N/A  86.4% 77.6%/MI 74%

UDM is T4.
N/A 1.5 1.8 3.00-3.50 147-153 46.2% 17.8 N/A  89.9% 69.2%/MI 74%

Toledo is #85
40 2.0 2.4 3.02-3.82 155-160 21.5% 14.1 84.8%  96.4% 78.1%/OH 80%

and I can't seem to find Wayne.  Seriously, I've looked like 5 times and Wayne is nowhere to be found.  I'll check again tomorrow.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Depaul vs. Loyola-Chicago
« on: February 26, 2007, 01:08:50 PM »
for real, i'm waiting for the reviews!

i'm going to loyola in a few hours to take a tour and i fear that i'll hear uchi2L's depaul trolling in my head the whole time!

Unfortunately I had to postpone my Saturday visit because of the horrendous weather predicted in the Midwest.

I've got a tour Saturday morning of Loyola and DePaul, so I'll report back too.

Are they both self-guided?  I called DePaul today inquiring about Saturday tours and they said the law school is open on Saturday but there are no tours and they emailed me a self-guided tour.  I'm going to be in Chicago this Saturday so I thought I'd take a look at both DePaul and Loyola since I'm waitlisted at both.

EDIT:  I have a tour of Loyola scheduled for Saturday morning.  And I'll probably take the self-guided your of DePaul right after.

Just got accepted off the waitlist so it looks like they're starting to pull people off.

Congratulations!!!  How were you notified???  What are your numbers (if I may so bold as to ask)?

EDIT: Never mind - just checked LSN.  Congratulations again!  This quick waitlist movement gives me hope!
