Thanks Guess Who!

I would HIGHLY suggest this.  Cannot stress it enough.  When everybody else is waiting in line and searching to figure out what books they need you go straight to the front of the line and give them your name receipt and they hand you all your books in a little Hastings bag.

Is anyone planning to pre-order books? Is that something that is suggested? Is there usually a huge rush to get books as soon as we get to the school?

Hey scrrrd,

I remember seeing a studio during my visit and believe that I saw a full-size bed with a desk and a bookcase all fit pretty nicely.  Lucky you!  I just received a letter today saying that I was placed on the waitlist for housing.

Since I won't be able to really go to San Francisco until the second week in August, I feel like I should get out to the West Coast in the next few weeks to look at potential apts (I'm in NY).  Or do you guys think that I'll be able to find something decent around campus during the 2nd week of August?

Here's another question for those of you who have either lived in or seen the Tower studio apartments:  Would a full-size bed fit comfortably in the studio, along with a small bookcase and regular-sized desk?

Sorry, I know this seems lame, but I'm making the move without seeing the space and am wondering what I could bring with me and what I need to buy.

I'd like to think that I'm done with my days of sleeping on a twin-bed, but who knows?

Thanks for your help!

In at G-Town PT.

The letter went to my permanent address despite my request to send it here.  I'm happy and all, but still a little disapointed that it wasn't for FT.  Kinda wondering if should have only applied FT and seen if I could get a waitlist and seen how I did with that.  Not quite sure what to do now.  I'd really rather go to law school FT but G-Town is great for what I'm interested in and in a city I love.

'Nough complaining.  I'm just happy to have another acceptance.

I know what you're feeling, but Congrats anyway!  On the bright side, if you go there just keep in mind that transferring into FT after your first semester has been mentioned to be as easy as sending an e-mail to the Dean!

In that case, since I still have not heard from GTown --- should I change my FT app into a PT app to have my feet closer to the door?

Same here. I applied in late January and emailed them last week when I saw that my status had not changed at all.  I basically got an email from an obviously annoyed admissions officer telling me to wait since I had applied so late in the game...

How do I sign my personal statement if I'm submitting it electronically through LSAC?
