Financial Aid / Re: Please help with lender selection« on: April 14, 2007, 02:31:30 PM »
Hey man, thanks for that analysis. I called each of the companies and had them quote me their total debt over 10 year repayment. While T.H.E. had the best customer service, I learned that the 1.3% reduction is not in interest rate but in principal reduction. SO just make sure that the calculations are accurate. That and the fact that they don't have options for private loans for Temple made me go with Access (However, great find and thanks).

Financial Aid / Please help with lender selection« on: April 11, 2007, 11:43:34 PM »
Hi guys, I was hoping someone could help me. I'll be starting Temple this fall and have determined that I will borrow $20,500 stafford loan only. I will assume for simplicity that this is the case for the second and third year. Therefore, my total amount will be $61,500.
I need help selecting a lender. Temple recommends Access Group and Citibank. THE is another one I saw on here. Could somebody who is proficient with all these lenders and their incentives suggest to me which lender is best for me and how much would I save with one over another? I really like Access Groups online access, but I want people's advice on these various lenders. Thanks a lot! 5
Law School Applications / Re: Dear Penn« on: April 10, 2007, 06:35:51 PM »
Single, white, thin envelope...with a nice REJECTION...although the kick to the cajones is met with a Temple 2010 jockstrap...so it doesn't hurt. My cycle is over and I am glad!

I'm coming back from work. I was told that I have a letter from Penn law. This is it. With it, my cycle ends. I'll update my LSN when I get home. Good luck to the rest of you!

Where should I go next fall? / Re: UNC v. Pitt ($$) v. Temple ($$) ... completely clueless comrade« on: March 29, 2007, 05:59:38 PM »
Well I might have my own bias, but all three schools are decent regional schools. If your preference is to stay in the South, I'd go to UNC and tell them they are your first choice and see if you can negotiate some money out of them with your offers from Pitt and Temple. The weather is definitely not great in Pa relative to more southern lands, but Temple is a great school with an awesome education. As for type of law, I wouldn't worry yet and keep an open mind going into law school. You'll figure out what you like.

Guys, a few of you have already decided on Temple. Check out the board and discuss why you chose Temple here:
