Good Politician? Is that kind of like corporate charity, or military intelligence?

these polling numbers are very interesting... I would love to get it up to 100 total votes

I have no business comparing these two schools, but...  I find it humorous that the aspiring politician is already conducting polls.  I don't think I could vote for a guy who doesn't have the balls to choose between two of the best schools in the country.

Choosing the Right Law School / Sick of Santa Clara...
« on: May 24, 2006, 03:25:33 PM »
I am feeling so annoyed/disappointed with Santa Clara's admissions department.  I applied early decision in October, was deferred in February, and then waitlisted in May.  Throughout my cycle they have consistently been the slowest and least helpful admissions dept among all of my applications.  Initially, I thought that they would be among my top choices, but if their admissions dept. is anything like the rest of the school I will have to rethink my options.  What kind of experiences has everyone else had wih SCU? Am I just being paranoid about this?

Choosing the Right Law School / Waiting till 2nd deposit deadline?
« on: May 22, 2006, 05:49:32 PM »
How many people are holding onto multiple schools and planning to drop 'cause of a 2nd deposit deadline?

How does everyone feel about these campuses?

What are the real differences between these schools? Is SCU worth more than just its IP program?  Does USF live up to its prime location?  Is UOP relevant outside of Sacramento?  Which of these schools has the best learning environment (i.e. teachers, facilities, and administrations)?  Or are these schools basically interchangeable, as the USNEWS rankings would seem to indicate?

It seems to me that most of you are arguing for Santa Clara based on its location and its IP program, while arguing against USF because it is in San Francisco and therefore has to compete against other bay area schools.  This is confusing to me because don't Santa Clara grads also have to compete against Stanford, Berkeley, and Hastings grads.  After all it is only a 45 min. drive from SF to Santa Clara, and only 20 min  from Stanford.  If this is the main factor, then I would think UOP has the advantage because the only other major school close to Sacramento is Davis.

I didn't apply late, but I agree with you that this is absurd.  For goodness sake I paid for a decision!  I had 2.75 GPA but a 164 LSAT, the ultimate split personality.  I guess I should feel lucky to be on all thses waitlists.
