Distance Education Law Schools / Re: Specialization Exams

I am not really sure who u are referring to as "the poster", but ive stated my situation and if you want to believe it you can, if not then don't. There are millions of people that come on to this site with questions and to make an assumption I am "this poster" or whoever you want to believe I am is not worth my time.

I went to law school but do not want to practice like a lot of people out there due to various reasons. I just wanted to know what my options were. Thanks.

i have given you an actual answer.

i graduated law school with a bunch of loans. im married and dont have money to pay for the class and exam. my kids are very young and my husband lost his job due to the economy.

i love contracts employment and have been a paralegal while in law school. Paralegals dont get paid enough. I graduated with JD and just looking for some Masters/specialization exam that i can take and still do legal work indirectly whether its consulting or reviewing documents that will put me in a manager position based on my JD. I dont want to go to court and practice law.

I hope you or anyone can help me.

are there specialization exams that you can take for Non lawyers? for example to work in Counsel..exams that set you apart from others without having to take the bar exam and spend all that money?

sorry for the late response....

basically i have a JD and a masters and 2 bachelors degree..however i do not want to practice in court...are there any limited licenses i can take without taking the bar exam? i still want to work in the legal field, but definitely do not want to be a court lawyer or spend all that money taking the 3 day bar exam plus the course.

i do not want to work as a paralegal with all my education. i am just wondering what my options are. are there any limited licenses available for me or career paths i can go with a JD and some sort of limited license without being a full fledged lawyer?

I am willing to take any specialization exam or if there is a substitute bar exam, or anything else thats available. I dont want to be a court lawyer, just wanna work in a corporation and review contracts, etc.

is there any other exam i can take to work in that type of field?

Besides California, are there any states that will allow me to take the bar exam from an unaccredited non aba school?

What about petitioning the Board..does it work? What do they look for?
