bump for observations

My observation was that it seemed like there were disproportionately more guys this time around.

They came just for you.

I am glad someone confirmed my suspicion.

And that's why every woman hates her thighs.

women really shouldn't hate their thighs.  Thighs are one of the sexiest things on a woman.  Thighs are important for child birth, so, because of that function, unconscious trigger makes men attracted to women with nice thighs. Of course, if there is cellulite on the, that's a different thing.

LOL there is almost ALWAYS cellulite, even on the skinniest woman.

Not in my experience.

I guess you've known all models...

...or 12 yr olds.

But I think in general, men just don't notice it because they don't spend nearly as much time examining women's thighs as women do.  But I don't think this thread is for discussion about cellulite;)

I'm kind of afraid of gaining weight in LS.  I have always been thin, but started working out vigorously so my abs would show.  Any athletes or fitness people will tell you that abs are the hardest muscle to tone to show off, and if I end up losing all my progress when I enter LS, I think I might be in a deep depression.

Huh. I never knew this.  It's always been butt/inner thighs for me, but then again, I am no athlete/fitness person.  Abs are easy.

Why is it the same weekend as Penn's?!  To everyone who went last time, how helpful was the second day (especially the Financial Aid Presentation and Lunch with Professors).  Also, am I just missing this or did they not invite us to sit in on classes?

I really should have been less cheap and gone to the one in January.

You can sit in on a class any time.  They will probably send you a list of classes closer to the event.  Otherwise, just email the admissions office (or whoever is the contact person for your asw) and ask for one.

You'd think if that were true I would've applied...

Anyhow, I don't buy that you're not a troll.

You got rejected from Berkeley. You don't have the numbers to apply to Yale, so stop with the lame excuses!

I couldn't make it to reception. How did it go for those who attended? Should I try to make it to another reception coming up in March?

Jesus, that sounds a little like my Georgetown visit.

::shudders::

(Georgetown is a great school and I was very impressed by the faculty, etc etc).

It IS better than they had us believe last year.  Maybe it's just our class though:)
