Sweep, I didn't mean to offend you in any way. It's just that as the above poster stated, if you can't pass the bar, you can't practice law, thus your degree will be wasted. I don't think getting a JD in America helps much to even practice abroad as law is different there.  And American JD's employed abroad passed the bar in the US and are councils for US law in foreign countries.

If by undocumented you mean illegal immigrants, then I doubt you'll be able to pass the bar's ethic's review, cause you are here on illegal grounds. So no point to even going to law school.

No, you don't have to withdraw. That e-mail doesn't nor guarantee your admission, it just means that your file will be one of the first files reviewed.

Just got my e-mail and was released from the WL. Not very surprising, since I didn't even send a LOCI.

Well, high 160s, at least.

High 160 for a URM is T-5. For lower T14 155-163 is enough.

I know several URM's with a sub 160 LSAT who got into T-20.  They didn't have anything amazing going for them also, just regular college kids.

I wouldn't quite go that far.  I really don't think that URM status will make up for a whole 13 points on the LSAT.  My recommendation is to retake the LSAT, making sure to study.  Use the LRB or the LGB to improve your score.  With that, I think that T50 would probably be the best that you could get into, T25 would be reaches.

Since when do you need a 170 to get into T14?

You are Latin, you have a chance at lower T14.  An even better shot at Vandy and such.

They currently have a bit over 200 who have made deposits and are slated to attend. The reserve list will probably be rejections and waitlists.

If what you say is true, deferred applicants have awful chances.
