Current Law Students / Re: LEEWS???

I ordred it (and split the cost with 2 others) based on many positive reviews from posters on the net as well as PLSII's endoresement.  (PLSII is a bit too rambling, but his arguments make sense.)  I plan on getting into LEEWS soon and will let you know.

I plan on following the PLSII suggestion of doing your own outlines and using the SG to work hypos extensively and do practice tests.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Princeton Review SUCKS ASS!

I took the course and found it very helpfull.  Like any other course, you get out of it what you put in.  We took at lest 5 fully administered tests and our teacher made himeself available for hours at a time on the weekends.

My score went from a 158 to a 170.

Note:  I am not employed by PR nor in any other way do I receive compensation from them.  I just think that it is useful... ESPECIALLY in keeping you on a study schedule.

So wait you're saying EE w/ years of work experience is a big plus?  I just wonder how my 3 yrs of w/e will play out.

W/e is golden when overcoming low numbers.  I am 34 years old with a UGPA of 2.33.  My LSAT and my w/e got me into places like Wake, George Mason and Maryland.  I think 3 years is a great ammount of w/e and patent law will be an attractive notion to the admit offs.

How do we know the AF in the yahoo group is the author of the book?

Because in the AF Manifesto, AF directs you to the website.  Note:  This does not mean that the poster on the site is the same person, just that the author(s) of the Manifesto are claiming that it is.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: POST YOUR SCORE

174 - this is a euphoric moment for me. I'm totally shocked and so glad I don't have to take it again.

Not sure what schools to apply to. 3.3 GPA but worked full-time through school. It's a good LSAT score, but is it enough?

YES!  (Look at my numbers and admits)

Sorry to post this message in this thread, but I am new to this board and I wanted to ask for some advice or suggestions.  I just received my LSAT score, 176, today. The negative part is that my freshman year GPA was about 0.9. I was a total slacker and never went to class. I took time off of school and have maintained about 3.96 since then. I retook almost every class that I had taken my freshman year. My school replaces the old grade with the new one, but I have heard that the LSACD or whoever takes both into account. My current school calculated GPA is 3.82, but I do not know exactly what it will be once it gets pounded down by LSACD.  Does anyone know how this will affect me in the application process? I would love to go to Harvard.  If I did not get in there, I would probably attend the highest ranked school that offers me money if any of them do so.

P.S. I am technically an URM, but my family is from Uruguay and I grew up in Massachusetts. My skin is whiter than most white folk and I have never really been discriminated against, so I do not plan on using this too much in

I got a 0.0 my freshman semester.  Check my numbers... you are doing fine!
