Law School Admissions / GPA improvement in last two years---3.4
« on: February 13, 2011, 09:49:42 PM »
I had one bad semester in school my freshman year which really killed my gradepoint.  it's gone up steadily since then; all A's last semester (first semester junior year).  I'm a classics major, latin language requirement, and it is likely I will write an honors thesis.  GPA in major is great.  Will my 3.4 kill my chances for a good school, or will admissions counselors look at that continued improvement?   Thanks

I had one bad semester in freshman year in school but then things got much better.  I am a classical studies major--all A's last semester (first semester junior year).  I will likely be admitted to honors classics and will be writing a thesis.  My GPA isn't great, but do you think that the schools will look at improvement??  Thanks to all.
