Law School Admissions / waiting...
« on: February 15, 2006, 04:13:37 AM »
I have gone complete more than a month before at most of the schools I applied to, and still haven't heard from most of them. Evenif ,y apps were held at that moment of the open-houses, it's been more than two weeks! I know some of you out there obsessively making trips to your mail boxes as today was a soft holiday. I don't contemplate calling the schools. I read somewhere that I maybe held on wait list without even knowing. And how about the financial aid info they sent to me? I am not even accepted (yet). Certainly, I have to say that looking at these aid info makes me feel like I'm admitted. Let me go back to looking at those for the 13th time of the day...

Sorry to bother you all. But I am writing because I would like to know how do you people out there keep their jobs around this time of application process period. I worked as a waiter in a restaurant, just been laid off today. I think it's because that I am mentary unstable nowadays. I tried to block the thought of being worried about the results of my law school applications. It appears to me that, it's difficult. I get argumentative for small things, protective, and aggressive for where it's not necessary to be. This is not mentary healthy.
Of course, I think, there are many people out there working as they wait for the decision of their applications to law schools. I don't want to make excuses for my behaviors, though I am having a difficult time handling myself nowadays.

147 and 157

Ok. What you guys think of GPA from a school, where about 90% of the students score bellow 150? For your reference, the average GPA at the school is at 3.02. Any thoughts?  ???
