Law School Applications / Re: Physician with 3.98 161 LSAT

No chance unless you're black or Hispanic.

Why would you want to become a lawyer any way?  Doctors do much better.

Studying for the LSAT / How do I become an LSAT prep instructor?
« on: March 05, 2010, 03:09:13 PM »
I read one class saying that all their instructors had scored at the 99th percentile or high.  I scored at the 98th.  Can I be an instructor anywhere?  How do I go about doing it?

Any information on what percentage of students from each school were searching for big law?  You see about as a high percentage of Boston College Students went to Big Law as did Yale.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Fustrated, Yet Determined.....170+

If the OP's slightly outragous claim of going up 20 points is true, then take as encouragment(despite the second half of its statement) that would mean it thinks you can go up to the 160's. :)

Oops, I actually meant the first time I took a practice test.  I got a 150 something with zero studying or knowing what the LSAT was.  If you've already studied for two months and are at 143, there probably isn't much hope.

The first time I took the test I was in the upper 150s and ended scoring 170+, but just barely.  If you're at 143 after months of studying, no amount of determination will get you up to 170.

Go to Cornell.  In the long run you'll earn more than enough to pay off the loans.

So is Big Law still there for most people who want it?  I heard that wasn't the case at Vanderbilt.

This place was helpful when I was applying and I'm bored with studying so hit me up if you have any questions about Charlottesville or UVa.

How many have got big law locked up?

Would you be able to take a train instead of a car to U&M?  In that case you could use that as study time.

You are absolutely full of sh*t. I mean claiming one guy from that school got hired by GS is enough of a lie, but some people might actually be dumb enough to believe it. No one is dumb enough to believe 10 students from florida coastal got hired by GS lol. GS doesnt even hire 10 jds from harvard each year..

Calm down dude, it's a flame (a forest fire at this point).

No, no, you've got it all wrong!  PM me and I'll let him know the names of the GS Florida Costal graduates!   ;D
