oh and any advice would be helpful not just from ppl who have visited

Tell me about your visit, this is really bad but I have to choose a school without visiting, so i'm trying to go for the second best thing and would like to know what others think of these schools.  Thanks.

i'm quite possibly in the same boat as you guys, I don't know how we're suppose to go about house hunting

both schools are very similiar in terms of "national" reach

Given that the schools are comparable do you think it's a waste of money to go to GW given the added tuition cost and COL expenses?

I got into both GW and ND (with 15k) and picked ND in a heart beat.  I want to work in L.A. and there's such a great ND presence here.  GW is so expensive (as is the cost of living in DC) and I certainly haven't come across any alums here in LA that I know of.

I don't know how either school fares in NYC, but the ND alum network is legendary.  I also was unimpressed when I visited GW.

I for one am taking the ND fellowship and possibly mortgaging a condo, and I look forward to working in LA again eventually.

More my opinion than anything else though!

Hey, hahhah I go to UC Davis too, what a coincidence, i see yeah i'm having a really tough time deciding, I mainly want to attend GW because I think it would be nice to live in the city for once... I'll have to try and visit each

Would like to work in SF or possibly NYC, what are the pros and cons of each school, any insight would be helpful thanks

Saying they are still looking at your application???  Does this mean they are giving it a second look and that I wasn't an auto reject?
