Definitely possible.  I went from a 147 to 164 (despite scoring b/t/w 167-168 on practices).  Put in the work and you'll get there.   

I took powerscore though...and haven't heard good things about Kaplan (only half the in-class time, lower standards for teachers - 91st percentile, etc). 

Good luck 

1) Adults never stop acting like children/adolescents
2) Unlike most academic environments, work is often not meritocratic
3) Coffee is necessary for survival
4) Any idealistic thoughts will be bashed out of you within the 1st 2 months
5) College/school/education is a million times easier/more enjoyable/less stressful and more satisfying.

Wow...you really hit the nail on the head with this list!  I couldn't agree more.  In fact, sometimes I sit at my desk and stew about #4.  Here's a visual...

Don't give up Latin!!  Just think, one day when you're a Partner or something...you'll have a great story to tell!

I was in a similar situation when I took the LSAT.  I was in an auditorium and the flip-up desks where absolutely tiny.  You couldn't even fit a full sheet of paper on them!  The top corner of the paper just hung off the desk.  It was especially frustrating because other classrooms used at the test center were not set up like this.  They had huge flat desks and could really spread out.  Anyway, here's what I did.  First, I got velcro for my stop watch.  This way I could attach it to the seat in front of mine and save some space.  Also, I lobbied the procters to allow us to use two desk tops (the one directly in front of us and the one to our immediate right).  After some deliberation, they decided that we were all spread out enough to use this method.  Don't get me wrong...this still sucked (bobbing back and forth between answer sheet and booklet like an idiot).  But, it was making the best of a bad situation.

You'd think LSAC would try to unsure some parity in the testing experience!  So annoying...
