Acceptances / Re: HELP Lawschool experts! Chances for 173/3.84

You guys are being way to hard on this gentleman. Sir, all you said was chances, what schools were you considering? With your stellar numbers you should be able to sweep the T14 no problem. Personally if I were you I'd take a full ride at the best school that offers you one, it's widely known that career prospects for all of the top 25 schools are excellent and you should be able to get into any field of practice from any school in that range. Good luck sir, you obviously have bright future ahead of you!

I don't think it was Wally, but I did think it referred to MBW's earlier post.

I just think it's funny that anyone would take my choosing PolarLaw over various T14s as wanting to "hang out with my friends" rather than because, well, it's one of the best Indigenous Law programs in the world.  But, hey, I could go to a school which doesn't even teach a federal NDN law course, but, well, it places in BigLaw.  Woot!  :D

You guys are being way too suspicious and neurotic. You should try being more calm, collected and rational; like me!

I'm so glad I turned down Chicago to take a full ride at Northern Illinois University, it really freed up a lot of time to hang out with all the friends I've made at school so far. Just wanted to pop in before bed, good night!

Either. Both of these schools are well respected institutions. I'm sure your sister is aware that attending a T14 school was a waste when she would've got the same job from any other school. Ask her how many SH graduate work with her, I'm sure one of the partners is a graduate!

Either.

Kent, DePaul, both are great options!

Thanks for the replies.  :)  Informative and entertaining.  The only way I will go to school in Arkansas is if I can't produce the funds for anything else.  I have been reading the posts on the NY schools and it is so depressing.  The only schools that the posters do not consider total crap are NYU, Columbia, Fordham, Yeshiva, and maybe Brooklyn Law School.  Yeshiva and Brooklyn Law are atleast somewhat possible for me to get into (atleast when I retake the LSAT), but I wouldn't get scholarships so they're out.  Are Pace, Hofstra, NYLS, St. John's, CUNY, Touro, et cetera worth bothering or should I hang myself now?

fixed

If you've got stats good enough to get into NYU or CLS then you'll be better off taking a full ride at a great school like Fordham.
