would it be better to apply early with around a 3.37 or wait until january and apply with around a 3.48. my ideal schools are like u of m twin cities, ucla, and CO boulder. what kind of lsat should i aim for to make up for my less than spectacular gpa?

Hi Everyone,

I was just looking at LSNs and it made me curious how everyone is paying for their education? If you are one of the unfortunate ones that has to take out student loans are you worried about paying them back? What is the job market like for lawyers? How about the chances of getting a job after law schoo?

I worked as a college counselor at a Top 25 public university and IIRC, if a student repeated a course, I think the original number of units would show up but I know for a fact that the original grade would not.

so does that mean if i retake a course and it only shows my second grade and the fact i retook the class then i wouldnt count the original grade into my LSDAS GPA? only the second one?

would it be worth it to stay in undergrad and extra year and raise my gpa to a 3.5/3.6 and then maybe retake my lsat for a higher score and maaaaaybbbe get accepted to Columbia Law School    :-\
