Transferring / Accepted to Cardozo
« on: August 06, 2010, 02:29:29 PM »
So I just got accepted to Cardozo yesterday as a 2L transfer. Im in Seattle now and a little nervous only because I feel like I will be behind the curve and I will have a harder time getting a job and networking, having missed out on my 1L year there.

What should I do?

Transferring / Can I transfer to NYC or DC?

I am really interested in international law and I am currently at Seattle University School of Law where the school has a B- curve. I did pretty well last semester with a 3.399, and I would like to transfer to a law school in NYC or DC. What are my potential choices? Do I have any?

Has anyone heard back from Washington and Lee wait list? When do they usually extend offers to wait listed students?
I would like to know as soon as possible because if they dont offer me a spot I need to look for an apartment.

I still haven't heard back from USC, Stanford, and Santa Clara and my applications were complete by 2/10/09. Would it be inappropriate to send a 3rd/new letter of rec to them to jock their memory that I am waiting to hear back?

Choosing the Right Law School / decision help

So I got accepted to Syracuse, Seattle Univ, Univ of the Pacific, Pace, and Franklin Pierce.
I am interested in international law, from the west coast. I just want to go to a school that will help me get involved in a rule-of-law career and post-conflict resolution.

I am also currently wait-listed at W&L and villanova, what are my chances of getting in there if I had a 158 LSAT and a 3.4 from an Ivy-league school?

In addition to that I am still waiting to hear back from Santa Clara, and USC, as well as Wash U St. Louis.

Santa Clara said that I would either be admit or waitlisted when I hear back from them at the end of April, but seat deposits are due on April 15th for the schools that I am admitted to.
