What are you numbers like? I messed up big time in college and my GPA is way low for law school, like 2.5 low. I still got into some T2 schools with $$ and I'm pretty happy with my decision to attend St. John's. I think that if you can increase your LSAT and wait until next cycle and apply in October you might have a shot at a better school. If Touro is giving you money it may be worth it, but definitely don't pay full price there. Honestly, Touro will provide you with few options if you don't do very well (Top 10%). If you do well, you will be better off transferring to a T1 instead of graduating from Touro. Overall it just seems like a no win situation. I know someone who graduated years ago and is doing fairly well, but I would say she is the exception and not the rule.
Basically I'm just saying be careful choosing a low ranked school like Touro.
I have a 2.9 and 153 LSAT. They are giving me $12,000 per year, and i am lucky enough that i will not have to take out any loans to pay for the rest. I have decided to attend Touro, if i do very well then i may look at transferring to a higher ranked school, but if not i think i will be able to be successful with a Touro Degree as long as i network, pass the bar, and have good summer work.
