I'm no expert, but I don't think so. 

I consider myself non-traditional.  I'm 33, married 10 years, one child, graduated from undergrad in '97.  I've been a real estate broker for seven years and recently became a foster parent.

Not sure if that's the answer you're looking for, but it's best to know what's what.

I live in metro-Detroit.  Thomas Cooley is a part of Oakland University.  The University in general has a good reputation within Michigan, but Cooley not so much.  U of Detroit Mercy or Wayne State Unverstiy (both in Detroit) are better.  If you really want to go to law school, do what you need to do.  But don't go if you aren't sure.  College loans are serious stuff.

My guess (and this is purely speculation) is that schools may do a bit of lurking to see what's being said about their program, overall perception, etc.  I highly doubt that they search for each applicant that way.

A Google search or MySpace check might be believable, though.
