Hi everyone,

As a Canadian student am I able to live and work P/T in Windsor and attend a law school in the Michigan area or do I have to live in US to attend the same school?

Thanks,

RM

Thanks for your quick reply. I have once question which perhaps you can answer. I have been trying to get a straight answer, and have been unlucky thus far. Do you know if at anytime students like us (Canadians) would be eligible at all for in-state tuition. With the schools I was looking at they offer after six-months you can qualify for in-state tuition for Out-of-State residents, but they are clear on if that applies to foreign students or not. Any insights?

Thanks,
RM

Southern Illinois - Carbondale / Question on Instate Tuition
« on: January 13, 2009, 03:13:29 PM »
Hey all,

Regarding in-state tuition, SIU-Carbondale allows for students out of state to apply for in-state tuition after six months, which drops the rate from 28k to 12-13k. My question is in everyones experience when they say out of state do they mean just from a different jurisdiction within the USA or do mean everyone including Foreign Students like myself (from Canada)? I would like all your opinions.

THanks,
RM

Hello everyone again,

The one question which I neglected to ask earlier, was do American Law Schools offer any types of scholarships to Canadians who attend their law school?

Thanks,
RM

Hello everyone,

I am very interested in attending an American law school with aspirations of working down there after I graduate. Does anyone know what the procedure is after graduation from law school if I want to work in the states?

Thanks,

RM
