Munkey: I have been thinking about Silverlake and K-town. Like I said before, I have done the apartment and house thing, and I would much rather live in a house. I REALLY hate traffic and try to avoid it like the plague. It seems like there's a ton of LLS people from UCI and UCLA. I was hoping that it would be geographically diverse.
HEAD: That's understandable, I would be suspicious of him if he WEREN'T picky. IM me any time during the day! BTW, I totally agree with you that LLS should have tried to woo us a bit more. My Vandy-bound friend got DVDs, travel stipends, personal phone calls from current students, and numerous ass-kissing emails. I must say I am getting quite excited about attending LLS. I was a bit disappointed at first, but this year has humbled me. Fello Loyolans (what the hell is our mascot btw??) let's try to recruit TheChoson for our 1L class! I have spent many hours chatting with him online, and I truly believe that he will add countless dimensions to our entering class!

I think it depends on what you want out of law school. USC will pamper you more and the alumni connections are world-renowned. UCLA is a little bit more prestigious and a tad more national, but I don't think it's signifcantly better. If I were in your position I would choose USC, simply because it costs the same when everything is said and done. Huge public schools like UCLA can't help but treat you like a number. Call the administrations of both schools and you will see what I am talking about. Good luck with your decision though, you can't go wrong either way!

Rejected from Davis yesterday...ouch, that hurt. I am still pending at Hastings and USC, but I'm pretty much set on attending Loyola in the fall. This process has humbled me like nothing else. I thought I was a shoe-in for Davis and Hastings! Silly me.

Me too, Davis made a decision finally after a couple weeks in review. The decision was mailed out on Friday, I live in Orange County, so I am expecting the decision tomorrow (Monday). I have no idea what to expect. Still waiting on Hastings...
