Hey there! I was recently accepted to JMLS too and I'm pretty excited but nervous about housing as well. I will need to live outside of the City unfortunatley because I have big dogs and would like a little more quiet area to go home too. I would appreciate any recommendations as well. Especially for anything closer to the Indiana border. (But I hear Gary and Hammond are not too great).

Last night, I was entering my 14th hour of non-stop work, thinking . . . dang it, this is why I want to go to law school . . . I'm stuck here anyway! Might as well make 100K a year instead of 30K!  Anyway, just a revelation, totaly off topic!

Exactly!  This is a federal case, so I'm so sick of PDFing and scanning to get ready for the CMA or whatever the heck system that is that allows us to electronically file!

Please do not hate me for saying this . . . but i had to take legal writing for my paralegal certificate, which was taught my a Notre Dame legal writting prof.  The reason they have it taught by a law school prof is b/c it is to be just as the law school legal writing class is taught . . . anyway, I struggled and in one weekend read "plain english for lawyers" then went back to my studies, and it clarified alot and things started to make a little more sense.

Our Local office in Indiana is called the XXXX County Prosecutors Office.

I have also heard of Prosecuting Attorney's Office.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Friendly competition wanted

I think this is a very cool idea.  I am just starting to study in prep of taking the LSAT next year.  I will surely be in the running for the most improved since I haven't even taken my first test yet.  Are there requirements on the test?  Can it be from a powerscore or kaplan book or does it need to be past official tests?
