My Michigan status checker changed to decision last night, and I'm able to log into the Admitted Students page
Hopefully my mailman will bring me a nice big envelope tomorrow!

They sent a folder with the usual acceptance stuff, and a nice spiral bound "Insider's Guide to Vanderbilt" book. Yep, went to "decision mailed" on 12/11. It said it would take seven days to arrive, but happily, it only took two

Law School Applications / LSAT discrepancy addendum« on: October 25, 2008, 09:21:36 PM »
My LSAT score jumped from a 159 to a 169. I know I should write an addendum to explain a 10 point jump, but what do they want to hear? I don't have any specific horrible thing that happened to me on the June exam, the October exam just went much better for me. Any specific things I should make sure to say/not to say?

Law School Applications / Additional Essays« on: October 20, 2008, 11:25:36 PM »
A few schools that I'm applying to have optional additional essays...if I don't have a particularly meaningful or brilliant answer to the question, is it better to just not do the essay? I don't want to look like I rushed through the app or don't really want to attend the school, but I also don't want them to see a lame writing sample. Do those additional essays really matter?

The same thing happened to me. I emailed the webmaster and they took care of it for me within about a day. It's worked fine ever since.
