i choose to remain blissfully unaware of the the last few posts. tl;dr, especially after i saw pinkerton in italics.

so anyway... yeah, maravillas makes a good horchata. this does not redeem the entire enterprise.

how is studying going generally, wally?

Anyone else struggling to get their sleep schedule back on time?

Also, what's the point of living in the South Loop?  It seems to be all the rage for this year's 1Ls.

south loop has a whole foods AND a place to get decent tacos.

What is a Chinese box?

My first and only exam is Monday, so I refuse to think about it atm.

Probably because my grades are terrible, I got asked about my grades quite a bit. Not to scare you or anything, but the interviewers who went to Chicago do seem to think Elements matters. I think the course is at least partly responsible for Chicago graduates' reputed analytical edge.

My best grades were actually in Elements and both of the Civ Pros (coincidentally my only 3 grades significantly over median) but no one seemed to care about the CPs except to ask if I planned to do moot court.

I don't dispute the fact that I may be weird, but the problem with my shoes is that I've invested so much money into this degree, and will be in somewhat bad financial shape without BigLaw.  Moreover, in this economy, these jobs are becoming scarce.  It's not guaranteed at all.

Being in the bottom at a T14 indicates to employers that you could get into one of these schools, but subsequently couldn't hack it.  That's pretty bad, too.  Look at the firm profiles for any big or even medium-sized firm.  I dare you to find a single person who didn't graduate with some Honors.

Wally, I don't understand why you insist on saying stuff like this when you know for a fact it isn't true. Is this some kind of crusade to offend everyone you know so that you will have more time to outline for property?
