No question UVA, you will have a job with big law by early part of second year. You will be making 175K or more.

U Conn.

I was kind of similar situation last year. Not a full ride but $ at GW. My parents are rich and they paid for my undergrad at an IVY school and now for Law school. For me, it was obviously UVA. For you it depends. UVA will open more doors in DC and starting salary and bonus would be higher, which may offset the cost of going to UVA

I would stay with Fordham. They will give you 7500 every year regardless og grades. While it is good money at Cordizo but if you dont get30.0 GPA, you will have nothing, next year. I believe job prospects are better with Fordham in NYC.

If that gives you any relief, last year my son was rejected at BC but accepted at UVA and waitlisted at Columbia, NYU, and Penn. He is in UVA now.

Actually, my son is in UVA and I go there some time. You won’t believe that I flew to La Guardia a month ago for $84 with stop over in DC. I have also driven from DC to Cville It took me 1 and half hour ( I got speeding ticket) but 2 hr is realistic. If you want to talk to my son I can give you his phone # and he can guide you or any one else on this board, if needed.
