Ack, looks like I won't be attending. Sorry -- you can cross my name off your list. I will likely be attending the April 23 Monday at Columbia event.

Congratulations to everyone! I'm in a UCLA, got a call from the dean (at least I think it was the dean, I was too excited to remember the name/title) at 8 pm last night (interrupted my nap!). Yeah options indeed!

Numbers? When you submitted? Any other helpful info - thanks! and Congrats! (says the guy just excited that he hasn't been waitlisted yet)

PM'd. Never got a complete notice, but sent around 12/15/06.

ACCEPTED! Fall 2007!

Welcome and congrads!! Enjoy your stay.

Jolie: Ah, well my memory was half right at least! Hey, think at some point you could post a housing review of sorts, at the very least warning your good friends on here what places/areas to avoid?

Well, I'm happy to answer any specific questions, but I'm wary of straight recommendations - my preferences (and needs) in housing are not neccessarily everyone's. Bear in mind that I'd rather live in a pile of manure than spend a week in the (very popular) Lawyer's Club, and you begin to realize that maybe you shouldn't be asking me for outright advice.

From what I know of it I would gladly live out of my car than stay in the Lawyer's Club. Don't discount your advice so quickly, knowing one person's experience can go a long way. But fine, I'll just be sure to forward specific questions your way when they come up. :)

Ack, what's wrong with the Lawyer's Club?

" Brent-

I love the combination of vegetarian and gourmet cook; C-SPAN and Comedy Central! You are a MICHIGAN MAN!!!"

- Sarah Zearfoss

Congratulations! I am very pleased to offer you admission to the University of Michigan Law School for Fall 2007!

I GOT IN!!!!

Awesome. Congratulations! I don't do most of things you do (I do watch Comedy Central though), so I guess I am not a Michigan man! I hope I can still fit in regardless.

Strad and I can't be the only jazz lovers around here.

Oh oh! *frantically raises hand in the hopes of being called on* I like jazz! Poncho Sanchez, Eddie Palmieri, Cannonball Adderley, Charles Mingus, and John Coltrane (except his "free jazz") are my heroes! Well, not really...but they cool...

Have I dropped enough names? :) I'm actually a dilettante, and prefer the blues to jazz. I know, very pedestrian of me.

i will probably be at the la one also.
I'll likely be at the Los Angeles reception, if anyone wants to meet up.

o coool. where are you coming from?

The South Bay area.

cool, i will definately see you there, i'll be putting up a self-tar soon so i don't walk around looking like a wanker asking people "uh, are you el pesado?" and such.

:) I'll probably be wearing a little name tag with the El Pesado moniker to identify myself....or a garish feathered hat.

I'd put up a self-tar, but I like remaining anonymous...at least for now.
