Mild case of prostrate cancer??   :o :-\  Hopefully everything turns out well for him (and his fulfilled 60 year old girlfriend!)  ;)
I hope impotence never becomes a problem for me (haven't had a problem yet)!!!  I would seriously consider contacting kevorkian or joining a sewing circle!!   ;)

Your LSAT score and GPA are two of the most important parts of your application (I would also include your personal statement as well, although others obviously disagree.  Numbers are always relative).
Extracurriculars and internships do help round out your application, especially when included in your resume, as you are able to demonstrate to the admissions committees that you have taken it upon yourself to get involved in causes other than your own; you have an interest in gaining experience in a field you may choose to explore further with your law degree; you have taken on leadership positions and succeeded.  Don't just list them in your resume.  Briefly discuss your responsibilities and what you learned from each.  If you really put a lot of time and energy into a certain activity, and feel as though it was one of the highlights of your undergraduate career, you may even want to consider asking someone within the organization (boss, advisor, etc.) for a letter of recommendation to include in your application (be sure to get at least two from professors).  Good luck!!!

News Discussion / Re: Peak Oil (truth or myth)

There is actually a pretty interesting article on peak oil in the new issue of national geographic.  It is nice to see that some of the more mainstream magazines are starting to take interest!

Well Aonghus. . . .
I have to admit that we have had our beefs over the past couple of months but I always respected the fact that you made your opinion known and didn't hide behind ambiguity.
I hope that you make the right choice for you and your family!!  Good luck with your ultimate decision.

That sucks!  What part of Argentina is your family from?  Buenos Aires?
<-----You must know who this person is then, right??   ;)

Yeah, I was already in Argentina visiting family. I already had a stopover in Bogota for two days so I figured if I changed the date of my flight I could then pick up a flight from Bogota to Caracas. The airline wouldn't let me since it was around the holidays and that flight was booked.

Almost flew to Caracas??  Dah-yum!!  Playa, playa!!   ;)
A small trip to Venezuela would be nice (especially if Mana was in town)!!!

ocelatl, I looove mana. I almost flew to Caracas just to see them in concert. Vivir sin aire is a good one though.

Off the top of my head, mine's "Next to be w/ You" by Mr. Big.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Idiot seeks LSAT help
« on: May 28, 2004, 09:29:44 PM »
STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!!!!

A month is a short amount of time to be studying for the LSAT (unless you are spending a lot of time on it).  Seriously consider postponing the test date to Oct. if you feel as though you are not completely ready.  It sucks taking it once!  I imagine it really sucks taking it several times!!

The games section is definitely the easiest to crack.  Spend your free time setting up diagrams for the games (make sure you use every rule) and answering questions.  You will eventually be able to recognize game patterns and, in turn, be able to answer the questions faster and more accurately!  Good luck!!

BTW you are far from an idiot!!  ;)
