I agree, it is the obvious....BUT....I think far too much is made of the whole "you'll never got a job from X Law School in X City" thing.

AMEN, brother!

Use this link to access the Hofstra student message board, https://webpub.hofstra.edu/Applications/CFBoards_Law/index.cfm/CFB/1.cfm

The username and password are not the same as the Hofstra portal username and password.  The message board ones came in a separate mailing.  The username for the message board will begin with "hoflaw" and end with a unique set of 4 digits.  Hope that helps.

Hi Zarkin - I suggested Sunday the 20th of August because a lot of out of state students will be arriving that weekend.

Thanks for sharing your opinion but I disagree with you about the rate.  The historical 3-month LIBOR over the last 10 years has ranged between 1.110% and 6.838%.  Gradplus is fixed at 8.5%.  I'll take my chances with LIBOR considering its historical trend.

I received 2.25 points plus LIBOR during the deferral period and 2.90 points plus LIBOR after the deferral period.  I believe there is either a 1% or 1.5% origination fee.  I chose the interest only during deferral period repayment option.  I was approved online and sent in the supporting documentation a couple of days back.

Make bank?  Yeah, probably.  They also drop like flies after 35.

No, I'm Part Time Day.  Which means I'll be taking classes with you.  I plan on changing over to FT next fall.  If you are around, we are trying to arrange a pre-orientation get together for August.  There was a thread started a few days back.  See you in a couple of months, bud.

In my limited experience with the administration at NYLS, I found them to be just as unaccommodating.  I'm glad I'm not spending my law school career there.
