I thought it would be interesting to see where RWU School of Law grads were working... So I went to www.martindale.com and searched for lawyers who graduated from RWU Law...

I am currently a second year student at RWU School of Law. I think some people might be confused about RWU's grading system, and therefore make it seem more daunting or scary than it actually is.

We have a mandatory mean for all 1st year required classes - the professor's average grade for the class must fall between a 2.33 (C+) and a 2.67 (B-). This is different than a mandatory curve, because with a curve teachers are forced to fail people, and in this case, professors don't have to have a certain number of A's and a certain number of F's... Professors must ensure the average grade for each of their classes falls between 2.33 and 2.67...

Also, you must have at least a 1.90 GPA at the end of your 1st year in order to be asked back for your second year. That means you basically have to have at least a C average...

Hi Amy.

I am currently a 2L at RWU Law. I have a scholarship and am part of the Honors Program (hence the scholarship)... To my knowledge RWU only offers merit-based scholarships, nothing need-based...

We have a great financial aid office... They helped me get loans that I am using for my living expenses (so that I can devote my time to studying, instead of working or worrying too much about money). Denise Rousseau is currently in charge of our financial aid office - her email is drousseau@rwu.edu - and I bet she could/would answer your questions.
