Keep the big picture in mind. I had a similar feeling a few weeks ago. I couldnt see myself reading another case for the rest of my life and literally was about to have the biggest bonfire in the middle of my apartment. (the fuel for said bonfire of course being all my books)
The big picture is to pass the bar and get your damn license. Dont stress too much about finals. Get the commercial outlines (approx 70pages) per subject. I wanted to make law review and get straight As. Forget that I just want to get my license and start making money.
Try and be cool and look at the big picture. Alot of people are going through the same thing.

But, I think it is sufficient that a reasonable person should know to a substantial certainty that coffee during class will cause them to have to intrupt the class to get up and go to the bathroom.
Good point, that being the case the reasonable person should forsee the extreme likelihood of said event and thus should only drink a sufficient amount to keep them awake and not a substantial amount which would cause them to like piss their pants.

Even better, let's combine them all, "It is, like, reasonably forseeable that like, a cup of coffee would be, like, sufficient to get me through the next class."
not really getting to me, i pretty much know what I need to learn, mostly the information from the primers and getting a really good handle on the black letter law, unfortunately dealing with the minutia of who won the case at the trial level, which is what our professors stress and want us to know, seems to get in the way at times.
I'll figure it out.
Just got my contracts memorandum back and did extremely well on it, was very close to the professor's model answer.
Hows it going for you so far?
Your posts have been a little on the flaming side lately. Are you ok? Under too much law school stress?
I traded sex for preparation in class once. I got called on the next class, told my professor "Unfortunately I did not analyze this case to the extent that would be helpful to our class discussion" I saw him take out a little red pen and mark me down. It was worth it though we only get one "unprepared" per semester. I was professional and if he had a problem with it i'm sure he would have went off like is the case with most students
Yeah though it would have been hilarious if I said
"Good morning professor, unfortunately I decided to have sex instead of reading the case to the extent where it would be helpful in this class discussion, im sure you would have arrived at a similar conclusion at the time of the act"
8 more months of this.
Any smokers out there smoking an exponentially greater amount of cigs after starting law school.
I was smoking a pack a day now i'm up to almost 2.
I believe its a combination of staying up later as well as the fact that I tend to smoke more when I am at my desk for x amount of hours reading.
If i get lung cancer after 10 years this is so not going to be work it.

I've added reasonable to the subject.
My issue with "sufficient" is with the use of it outside of class or in class discussing some matter where the word "sufficient" has no part of the conversation whatsoever.
Do people in your school use "reasonable" when they are discussing whether to goto starbucks after class?
What about the combination of the words.
Q: Do you want to get a cup of coffee before our next class?
A: I think one cup will be reasonable and sufficient to get me through the next class.
Death to Tyrants.
