I agree that preparing correctly is just as important as the amount of time devoted. However, I think many people (at least at my school) feel the need to falsely bolster how much time they put in. Some of my friends tell me they were at the library "all day" studying but the few times I am there, I seem them surfing the net or listening to their ipods.

I am in my second year at a school where the median lsat is 157. While I only had a 154, I am currently in the top 7%. Also, my undergrad gpa was well below the median. Actually, I am not sure why I was admitted in the first place but that is a different story. I have learned that there are many intelligent people in law school, but many can be outworked. I decided that I would spend more time than anyone else preparing for exams to make up for any of my shortcomings as refelcted by my LSAT and gpa. Thankfully, it has been effective so far.

Sorry. I honestly did not mean to offend anyone. I was only trying to help ease the applicant's concern. My comment was not intended to be a slight to anyone that attends NSL.

I took the liberty of looking up the median LSAT for 2004 on their website. It was only 147. Essentially, if you have a pulse you are likely to be admitted.
