I was told Lewis made a 180 on the LSAT and had to retake it as he was accused of cheating...If the original question pertains to Mr. Lewis' initial LSAT test prior to admission to law school, then (assuming he went to school prior to the early 1990's) he could not have scored 180 because prior to that period, the LSAT scale only reached 48.
took it again and again got a 180. Went to Georgetown. Thank God there are intelligent people who enjoy teaching the law. We have some really high calibur professors!
This is a petty observation, and the real question is whether he achieved a perfect score at all. Whether he did so one or more times is immaterial, as he has certainly earned the right to speak, not only from the lectern, but also from the bench as an interim judge (according to the NSL handbook).
Most students have probably realized, (hopefully before taking the LSAT), that the test is not necessarily an infallible indicator of academic or professional acumen.
Below is a link to a well-documented discussion of scandal surrounding the LSAT. The author's bio cites his undergrad work: "B.S.F.S., International Affairs, Georgetown Univ. School of Foreign Service, 1966"

I'md def. pro-immigration. I am not for letting anyone and everyone immigrate to the US, but our country's immigration policies are disgusting and unfairly discriminatory. Especially when it comes to ppl coming from the middle east. Just read some of the legislation that was recently passed... esp the patriot act. Get rid of Bush!
As for hispanics "taking advantage of the system," how could you expect them not to. The conditions in Mexico, for example, are horrendous, and if you have children, getting them to the US could literally save their lives.... Many hispanics are here in the US working very hard for a living, getting paid way below min wage (ie, not fully benefitng from "the system").
Gimme a fuc|<in' break already. You should move to Mexifornia.

Christian Activists Charged With Hate Crimes For Gay Protest
Charges Carry Penalties Of Up To 47 Years
POSTED: 2:54 pm EST January 12, 2005
PHILADELPHIA -- Four Christian activists are accused of hate crimes for their demonstration urging gays and lesbians to repent at last October's "Outfest" in Philadelphia.
Michael Marcavage and his fellow demonstrators face arraignment today for alleged ethnic intimidation, criminal conspiracy and inciting to riot.
Film shot for the upcoming documentary "The Philadelphia Five" shows Marcavage and other members of Repent America trying to make themselves heard over gay activists who whistled and surrounded them with pink signs. When Marcavage complained to police, he and his fellow Christians were arrested and jailed.
Their attorney said the charges carry penalties of up to 47 years in prison.

There's no need to prove the employability of NSL grads, beyond pointing out the many fine almumni who have become successful and well-respected attorneys and judges in this state.
I can see the writing program at NSL is second to none.
Wow, how f**cking clever of you. Good luck finding employment with your non-accredited TTT.
jslick, it's mutual.
Now, Grasshopper, let's consider your inferiority complex, evidenced by your uncontrollable compulsion to cast uninformed juvenile insults. Your thin skin belies your nagging insecurity, and it's quite amusing (and very boring) to notice how this petty shlt agitates your reptilian excuse for a mind.
We know that you cannot help but reply. However, don't expect a return reply from me, since my thread ends here.

Jeffjoe, maybe it would help if you were to broadcast an invitation to the board via TWEN's mailing feature.

ome find this forum the ideal place to be gratuitously insulting and vulgar. It is becoming an unpleasant place to visit.
[/color]There's always television, but wait, that's gratuitously insulting and vulgar too.
How about a bar? Nope.
How about the mall? Nope... same old crap.
Church? It's all there; just below the surface. Church is one of the best places to find the worst form of vulgarity and insults: hypocrisy.
I have it: sports! Oops.
How about just spending time with the sig-other? On 2nd thought...
Torts book? Nope... lots of vulgar case topics there.
Contracts? Nope... consider the vulgar, conscience-shocking case of Fiege v. Boehm.
Legal Writing? Nope... it is the root of vulgar comments.
I think there's a rocket with a vacant seat leaving for Mars.
