Hey Paddy - not alone, just rare!  I'm actually a little surprised at how few international applicants there seem to be round here...

I think as of this year we have to use a 'JD credential assembly service' from LSAC, which isn't available, you're right, until August, so I'm sitting on it 'til then - I got my 2.I last wednesday, averaging about 62-63%.  Well done on the 1st!  Every website I've looked at seems to have a different opinion on how to convert UK to US grading, so hopefully you'll get a 4.0 for the first - I'm hoping for a 3.5, but a 3.3 is more realistic (just praying it's not lower).

Do you have any partiular area of the states you want to end up in?  It'd definately be cool to be in touch with another UK applicant - I don't think student visas are gonna be too bad, but employment issues could be a freakin' nightmare...
