Title: Disillusioned Associate Attorneys
Post by: nephilim on May 22, 2016, 02:12:59 AM
If being an Attorney is such a wonderful job, why does it have such a high rate of suicide, depression and alcoholism.  :'(

Who said it was a wonderful job?

Seriously though, depends on what you do. I know some who are miserable and others who are happy. Most are either miserable or happy depending on what day it is. Just lost an MSJ and the boss is pissed? Unhappy. Just won an acquittal after months of hard work? Very pleased. It's all relative.

1. cool name

2. Stop. There are unhappy people in all professions with those issues. Its like when people cry about student loans as an excuse to stay in $10 an hour dead end jobs to avoid the "debt" of college. If you don't have the sack for it, stay out.
