Title: Umass law Dartmouth status?
Post by: Jszalan on July 10, 2013, 01:55:26 PM
In a couple of years I plan on attending law school. I have been looking up schools in the northeast and found umass just got accreditation a few years ago but that's where the articles stop. How is this school performing and is it worth it to go there.
Thanks

UMass Law was provisionally accredited by the American Bar Association on June 8, 2012.

My understanding is that any school must remain provisionally for 3 years before receiving full accreditation.

My guess is that during the next several years UMass Law will transition to be a mid level quality law school, if for no other reason its tuition which is less expensive than the Massachusetts private law schools.
