Title: Having an international faculty to write a LOR
Post by: lumi on July 29, 2010, 01:33:13 AM

I would be getting a LOR from one of my math instructor. She is from Brazil and honestly she isn't so fluent in English (her blog entries often contain some obvious grammatical errors). I did very well in her class (got an A+, TAed for 1 1/2 years) and am quite close to her, but I'm worried if her writing style would harm my chances for law school admission. If possible, I will ask her to get revisions before she hand in the letter to LSAC, but do you think I should instead ask someone else? Would there be a good way to handle this issue?
