Title: Please Help: OCI Screw-Up
Post by: luckycharm on August 12, 2004, 04:47:03 PM
So with my piss-poor grades, I definitely did not expect to get any interviews through OCI. I did my bidding hastily and like a dumbass, forgot to put in my class schedule. So for the first phase, by some miracle, I got 7 interviews--- all during class time.

So now I have no idea what to do. I don't want to get dropped from all my classes for missing so much. At the same time, with the ugly state of my transcript, I feel like I need all the interviews I can get. Should I cancel a few and keep some? Obviously I want to do this as soon as possible so my classmates have a chance at the opened slots? Or are profs usually reasonable about missing class first week? Ughhhh...feeling really dumb right about now.

I don't know if this is too late or not but I just joined this group and saw your post.  I would accept all of the interviews and let the professors know what is happening.  That way, your professors know that you are not "blowing off" classes.  Good luck!

how did you get all these interviews if your grades are so bad?
