Title: Who's else is looking for a job over winter break?
Post by: Dave80 on December 08, 2001, 02:25:03 AM
I plan to do some serious resume / job search work over the break.  I've got some websites in mind to help me get started (and of course there's the career center), but I'm wondering if anyone (maybe a 2L) has any advice about where to look for good 1L jobs.  Anyone?

I dont think winter break is long enough for you to get serious work.

I know that our school gets three weeks for winter break.  I agree that its not enough time for a meaningful legal experience.  And while the thought sickens me, I'll probably end up boarding myself in the library doing research.  Theres's various contests, hosted by the ABA and other law foundations, that call for scholarly articles and papers.

Otherwise, I may cuddle with Martindale-Hubbel and familiarize myself with law firms.
