Woohoo. Email acceptance today. I was complete Jan 21st. Numbers in LSN. I was starting to think they hated me  ;) Can't say where I'll go yet but options are good!

Congrats 4040!! It was nice to see that heading in my inbox  ;D Thanks to all for the congrats. Very kind. I suppose I shouldn't be sick of snow if I want to go to Case. I still have no idea where I'll be  ??? I'll be interested to see what kind of $$$ I get from Case.

I dont care what kind of money they give you, if you're smart enough to have that LSAT/GPA you can't possibly be considering case over Vandy or Fordham.  You waiting for an ego stroking money offer, or because you want to work in Cleveland?  Curious.

Easy now, don't be so quick to dismiss Case ... rankings aren't everything. The quality of education at Case is first rate and can't be overlooked. They have one of the most innovative programs in the country in Case-Arc. The school is really hurt by its geographic location, and I would go as far to say that it could probably rank 20-30 spots higher (if that's what you care about) if it were not in Cleveland. It would certainly draw far better students.

By the way, Cleveland boasts the sixth largest legal market in the country. It's certainly not NY, SF, DC or Chicago, but it's nothing to laugh at. My .02

Excellent point. I don't know what I want. I think Fordham and Vandy and fantastic but my family also lives here in OH. We moved here from California last year. Not sure if I want to move again. Scholarships are not a HUGE deal. I will spend whatever I need to for my education. The offers do come into play though. The right school (concentraion and environment wise) combined with enough scholarship money *might* be enough for me to not pick Fordham, GW, or Vandy. I guess what I mean is rankings are important to me but only to a certain extent. I will consider them but there are many others factors I personally want to include. I feel torn right now. I want to go with the "best" school I got into to, however part of me doubts if that would be the best school for me. Long stroy semi-short, I have no clue. Any advice, good and bad is appreciated and duly noted  ;D

Just by looking at the 25th and 75th percentile salaries for Case grads, I don't think you could wrong by choosing them. The median starting salary for case grads is actually higher than it is for grads coming out of Univ of Iowa--and Iowa is about 30spots ahead of case in the rankings.

I wasn't insulting case at all, just to be clear (I'm thinking of attending myself, and think it's a great school).  Was simply noting that he's already in at Vandy and Fordham, and without a specific reason I'd assume those two would be chosen over Case.  And apparently I was right, as he does have an Ohio connection there.

I went complete a couple weeks after you and have yet to hear anything... Maybe that's a bad thing? I'd love to be accepted there--of course I'd love to be accepted anywhere at this point. I think I'm on that line between auto-reject and auto-accept, so I'm in limbo.

Congrats tho.

I'm sure they're still sending out acceptances. It seems like the people they are holding are the super high people. Almost as if they can't bear to lose them but worry they won't attend and will thus screw up their yield. Good luck I bet you'll hear soon.

Congratulations on Case. I was also accepted about a month ago and after visiting I thought it was a GREAT school! I agree with the person who noted that Case is really hurt by its location.  If Case were in any major city other than Cleveland, it would definitely get more attention and people would be beating down the doors to get in.

After much debate, I've decided not to attend Case, so I hope my scholarship offer ends up in your hands if you end up attending.

Good luck!
