Title: 2006 US News Rankings
Post by: --------- on March 09, 2005, 03:54:21 PM
I apologize if this has been asked before.

When does the US News release their 2006 rankings? I could have sworn that the 2005 rankings were released at the end of last March.

It has been asked MANY times. It's called "search." Even my maid could find the US News Rankings.

It's pretty childish. It also seems to be a habit in *every* ls forum I've read. Oh well. The whole process is stressful,I guess it just hits some people harder than others.

The attitude was fine, probably called for...lighten up.  The OP is asking a question that can--and has--been answered any number of other ways, many other times, in this very location.  There's nothing wrong with a "rude" answer to such a lazy question.

"F*ck off, loser - even my maid knows where to get a stinkin' watch!"

I want you to think really hard about this.  You might realize that something about your statment makes absolutely no sense.

And by the way, I can see at least two of these threads going on right now.

You really see a problem with the "rude" response?  Really?  If that response is rude, might it also be just the slightest bit rude to start posting questions without even bothering to see if that question has been answered before (or in this case, numerous times before)?  If this is such a problem, how do you handle sarcasm in your daily life?

No, a question for assistance is not rude.  If you don't want to help, don't answer.  It would have been just as easy for her to say "search for the date, it's been discussed previously" as it was for her to say "it's been discussed MANY times.  even my maid..."

Can't we all just get along?

Look, if people are harsh, and you want to be harsh back, go for it.  Fight fire with fire.

Being rude to someone who may not have even known about the search option was just uncalled for.

Maybe the OP knew about it and was just lazy, but I'd like to be the kind of person  who gives them the benefit of the doubt.

And did you REALLY just invite me to "fight" with you on an internet message board?  Really?
