Title: Please help me (if you took the 10/2 LSAT)
Post by: *daisychain* on October 15, 2004, 10:57:13 AM
Hi Everyone!
I took the 10/2 LSAT and I had 3 arg sections, 1 of which is experimental.
I have asked everyone that has taken the test how their sections were ordered, and no one has had the same layout as me.

I had
1. LR
2. LR
3. RC
4. LR
5. AR

The point of all this: If you only had two arg sections, did you remember having any of these questions listed below? I cannot, for the life of me, figure out which was the experimental section, since LSAC rearranges the order of the experimental section (apparently it was section 2 for most test-takers).

If you didn't have an experimental arg section, do you rember these questions?

Flaw Question: Tidal waves

Assumption question: Wineries/Good wine and Bad wine

Hey,

I had the same exact layout as you, as have others.  I remember there being a post about this somewhere, so you might search for it.  And yes, I remember those questions.  I'm still pretty sure that our experimental was the second section, though... even though I wish it was the first LR because that was my toughest section of all.

Section 2 was, with no doubt, experimental.

I had 1. LR 2. RC 3. RC 4. LR 5. Games.  Depending on what test "Form" you had, you got a different experimental section.  For instance, I may have had one person to the left of me with Games as section 2, the person to my back with Logical Reasoning as section 2, etc...

Does this go for every test? It was my understanding LSAC varied the placement of the experimental sections per test form.

This test it was Section 2.  Other tests it has been 1, 2, or 3.  Section 3 has been the most popular section to insert the experimental.
Section 2 was, with no doubt, experimental.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything, but I have spoken to several people who took the 10/2 test and their experimental section wasn't in section 2.

I'm just asking if you didn't have 3 arg sections, did you notice the questions I listed above in my 1st post?

i did not have lr for an experimental section and i remember both wine and tidal wave questions, so they were from scored sections.

They're dillusional.  It was without doubt, verified by thousands of people, the second section for the October 2nd, 2004, exam.  Some get games, some get reading, some get LR, but it's definitely the same section number.

If the LR question you're wondering about was the second section, it was experimental.

I figured something was fishy about that claim.
