18 hours left here. I want to go home desperately.

It's like 2 hrs away, right? I'll be happy to get the F out of here and get back to normal people. And get back to paying $6 for a 12 pack instead of $6 for one beer.

Yeah, and I've been back a ton this semester (which hasn't really helped with the fatigue at all). I think I'm just generally burned out from this set of classes and really want to start something new. I don't even mind finals so much, just as long as I don't have to go to these classes anymore.

I used to think that having finals after winter break was stupid, but now I am eternally grateful!

I'd hang myself if I had to study over xmas.

The finals are pretty well spread out (about 3 or 4 days between every final), so it's not that bad. You can get a decent amount of studying in over 3-4 days when you don't have regular reading assignments or other stuff going on. I guess not having grades also helps, but I'm beginning to find that not wanting my professors to think I'm an idiot is as great, if not a greater, motivator than grades.

Ah right. Well, best of luck to him. I think everyone here is sending positive vibes his way.

Thanks :)

Positive visualization really worked for me, as a way of calming me down. Tell him to imagine himself destroying the test and what that would feel like, how wonderful it would be to just breeze through the questions with complete certainty. Whenever I got nervous (we had about a 2 hour wait to get seated before my 2nd test), I would close my eyes and just imagine that feeling for a few minutes and would feel much better.

If only his uncle had lived, there's no telling how buff he'd be. :P

Also, this is but one of the reasons why I know I could never live in NYC.
