Don't be sensitive because you are going to GW; I am saying nothing against GW -- it's a top-rate school.  However, I merely said that I see no reason to choose GW over Georgetown, since Georgetown has a superior reputation.  The only reason I can even conceive of choosing GW in this situation would be a nice-sized scholarship.  But the person who started this post didn't bring up the issue of money.  And I never said it mattered to me. Must I have the option of going to these schools to offer my opinion? Though I am on the waitlist, even if it's a long-shot. And why would you care ?

I haven't heard a good enough reason yet why someone would choose GW over Georgetown.

What's it even matter to you?  You don't have either as an option.......

It seems to me that Erapitt is the type of person who doesn't have a whole lot of self-esteem or personal stability, so he spends the bulk of his time trying to prove himself by how highly-ranked his law school is. As opposed to those of us who have the serenity to accept that prestige isn't the sum total of life, he is so absorbed in his school ranking that he can't possibly treat others with respect.

Classic narcissist.

I never made one comment in my post about going to GW or feeling special because I am.  All I did was ask why you care to chime in a snide remark regarding two schools you don't have as options.

I would choose GULC over GW and I never said otherwise.  However, if significant scholarship money is involved, one would be better served taking it at GW.

It wasn't snide, Erapitt...mj was simply stating what I see to be somewhat of a truism...all else holding equal, I'd take Georgetown over G.W., no questions asked.

Why is it that you feel the need to one-up people? What sort of personal insecurities do you have to compensate for?

If I was forced to pick between those two it would have to be G-Town. Is it possible to take another LSAT? You can't beat an ivy-league legal education. Hope I helped!

I'll speak my peace about erapitt, and then be done with it. I happened to mention, half-jokingly, that I'd love to transfer to Stanford from American after my first year. Erapitt was nice enough to take time out of his busy and more-important-than-mine schedule to send me a personal message telling me (paraphrasing): "Dream on, come back down to earth, you're a low numbers nerd, blah blah blah blah blah...". Perhaps the most condescending and childish crap I've heard in my life, from somebody who doesn't have the social skills to tactfully discuss the issue.

Then I see him treating somebody else the same way...I had to call him on it. Frankly, whoever is at the other end of that IP address is pathetic. Gentlemen...that is all.

If this is true, it wouldn't be the first time he PM'ed someone to hurl insults.
