We all have a militant, angry black woman in us  ::)

Way to hit those stereotypes, caller.

Does yours look like this?

Vagina?

No, the angry black woman inside you.

(Well, the one besides me.)

(Umm, DNQ.)

Yeah, I got it, just wanted to type 'vagina.'  I'm nearly 26. Hi, Mom!

I'm trying to find newspaper articles from '73-'75 about Gay Students Organization of the University of New Hampshire v. Bonner. We want to know what the "extremist homosexual literature" that some parties found so objectionable was.

I didn't find anything in westlaw (and the briefs, etc, aren't available online) and all of the articles in google's archives require a subscription. Are there other good, easily searchable databases? Our library website is impossible to navigate.

I don't have any great suggestions, but you might want to contact Prof. Don Herzog at Michigan.  He cited the state's brief in a recent article (105 Mich. L. Rev. 1, 16 n. 81).

You could also contact the attorneys for the parties to see if they can send you PDFs of the briefs.  This is the kind of request I answered fairly frequently at [former employer].

Quote
Charles G. Douglas, III, Concord, N.H., with whom Michael M. Black, Concord, N.H., was on brief, for Meldrim Thomson, Jr., appellant.

Joseph A. Millimet, Manchester, N.H., with whom Silas Little, III and Devine, Millimet, Stahl & Brahch, Manchester, N.H., were on brief, for Thomas Bonner and others, appellants.

Richard S. Kohn, N.H.Civ.Lib.Union, Concord, N.H., for appellees.

E. Carrington Boggan, New York City, on brief, for Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., amicus curiae.

Hi honey!

(or are we not role-playing any more?)

I told you privately that we're only done when I say 'Allakhazam!' 3x in your ear.

Now we'll have to work to get back into character.

First someone has to heat the olive oil!

Haha. Clearly.  There are rules. And laws of cookery.
