i'm ready a significant amount of the time, except for my two classes taught by adjuncts who think 120 pages of reading for a 2 unit class is reasonable.

adjuncts, not associate.  they all have other jobs and teach specialized class which might not have case books, so it's just "read these 5 cases and go"

Sorry, totally misread that. :D

I take it they don't have a lot of grading to do, aside from finals. So they have nothing to do other than assign reading and lecture?

well, they have a job (attorney, etc.)

eta:  the tech doing the ultrasound wouldnt tell me anything, but i did get her to say "well, it doesnt look like there's any cancer or cystosis in there"

...and the receptionist at the counter, unlike the tool at walmart yesterday, was totally cool, used all the right pronouns, and didnt bat an eye when the paperwork i filled out for her had my legal name  :)

i think it has to do with their familiarity with the subject matter so 150 pages doesn't seem so much.

Your crim professor really didn't give any reason for banning you?

no, he didnt ban me, he knew i was sick and having kidney problems and excused me from class when i was insisting on going anyway

i can be a tad bit stubborn at times, it appears
