Anyone know when this starts?  Is anyone else going to have a party with their friends to celebrate the occasion?  How are Jim and Pam going to be?

Sept. 4th. New night and time. (I think.)

Or maybe that's when the Season 3 DVD comes out. Law school doesn't leave a great deal of time for t.v. obsessing.

I just got into the old eeek!

I'm secure enough in myself to not let how many guys a woman has slept with be the ultimate deciding factor. You know why I say this, because for one SOME women are promiscuous because they were looking for love and attention from all the wrong places. That doesn't make them a whore, scumbag, slut. Also SOME women may have just enjoyed sex, still doesn't necessarily make them a whore, scumbag, slut.

What matters more to me is whether I feel that they can be in a committed relationship and my feelings for them. Heck I've been with a few women in my life, and I would hate to be judged solely on that factor, so I cannot judge a woman the same way.

if I love you I love you, whether you've been with 3 men or 30 men. As long as you have moved on from your past your alright with me.

Now this I can agree with...  For the record, my point wasn’t about how many people a person had monogamous relationship with, whether 3 or 100.  My point was the type of woman that continues to believe that casual sex for the point of getting your rocks off is cool and passing that view down to her daughters.  ...And/or the woman that lacks the moral authority to instill values of monogamous relationship.  And even then, I am not saying that all women must have those values to be marriage material or to be a good mother.  I am saying that some men should have the right to require it for more than safe sex reasons.

I think some people are reading entirely to much into my statement.

Enjoying casual sex periodically != the inability to be monogamous.  [buzzer] Try again.

And this is why you're my girl crush.  :-*

This is a good move, Lily.  I've been much happier since I finally relented and did the same (though of course I may have ruined it for the others).

I just feel bad that I don't have enough time to devote to LSD as I used to.  :-[

General Off-Topic Board / Re: PRENUP - why is it such a sore topic?

I don't think there's anything logically wrong with a prenup, but it just seems so cold when you're marrying the love of your life.  It's hard to say to your partner, "We're making a lifelong commitment, but maybe we'll betray our word."

Anyway, we don't have a prenup.  Up until I graduate from law school, he's been the higher income earner.  After that I will be.  But you know, after having supported me through law school, I think he'd deserve something for that.  Just like I think women who make professional sacrifices to be stay-at-home mothers deserve the protection of the law.

...Which 50% arguably doesn't do. Women are harmed far more by marriage than men are -- especially if they have children.

obviously wiimote is insecure about a crowded profession and all the competition he will be faced with.

it's just a fact that a lot T14s get their asses kicked in court rooms all the time by T2-T4, and people like wiimote just can't stand it.

two points:

1. the whole "i may go to a T2 school but i'll kick your ass in the courtroom" thing and all variations thereof is really rather tiresome.  must everything be a competition?

2. there's no such thing as T14.  that's just a myth spread by the GULC trolls.

The biggest problem with pets in law school comes with summer jobs. Figuring out how to care for them if you have to leave for the summer is a gigantic pain in the ass.
