Remember: Due to their favorable business laws, MANY companies headquarter in Delaware. Probably have some good internship opportunities.

Actually Lane I believe many companies are incorporated there but don't have their headquarters there. Widener has one of the top healthcare law programs and in case anyone cares also has the only JD/Psyd program in the nation.

Still in comes downto location, if you want to practice in the NY area go to Touro, if you prefer the Delaware Valley go to Widener.

Gotcha. Seems like you could do well incorporating businesses, then!

I interviewed at a couple of DE firms for summer jobs (which I didn't get) and I got a very positive impression of practice in DE.  Cost of living is low and starting salaries are still around $125,000.  There are some great corporate and IP opportunities in Wilmington, if that's something you're interested in.  The drawback is, of course, you would have to live in Delaware.

Dude, Delaware Rocks. Seriously. I could live in Greenville the rest of my life.

well as long as you aren't from slower lower, then its ok....i went to U of D for undegrad and living in Delaware (for the rest our lives) was undesirable for many of the students who weren't from Delaware (ie students from NJ, NY , PA and MD)

I live in the Dover area and I love it.  Widener is up north, in Wilmington, not too far from Philly.  Hey, DE is the home of tax free shopping.  If that doesn't grab ya, I don't know what will!

Definitely not from slower lower. I dont understand why people have such a crappy perception of DE. Ok, Newark isnt the coolest college town, but living in the wilmington area is no different then living in NJ, NY , PA and MD.

I am originally from North Jersey and I have been in Philly for 5 years for undergrad so Wilmington Delaware does not sound too appealing to me. I think Long Island would be more suitable but it seems like I would have better job opportunities in Delaware.
